The platform streamlines the complete lifecycle of auto shipping: customer onboarding, order management, dispatcher operations, real-time vehicle tracking, and agent-customer communication.


I contributed as an early engineer, helping build and scale mission-critical systems that directly supported Diesel Auto Express’s rapid national growth. My work significantly improved operational efficiency, platform reliability, customer satisfaction, and internal workflow automation, making the product a core competitive advantage in a high-velocity logistics environment.

My Contribution

  • Led the end-to-end migration of the sales onboarding tool—used by customers to arrange and order logistics services—from AngularJS to React. Re-architected the interface, redesigned core components, refactored API integrations, and optimized performance. Implemented a modern React component structure, code-splitting, and improved backend request handling, resulting in 45% faster load times, a cleaner and more maintainable codebase, and a significantly smoother onboarding experience for thousands of monthly customers.

  • Designed and developed the real-time transportation tracking dashboard for logistics operators. Built high-frequency data updates via REST and WebSockets in Angular, integrated live route visualization, enhanced filtering, and added operational alerting. This dashboard became the core operations tool and increased efficiency by 55%, reducing manual tracking and improving delivery accuracy.

  • Architected a scalable real-time tracking system for dispatchers, enabling live monitoring of nationwide vehicle shipments. Implemented event-driven updates, optimized query performance, and created a unified data model for consistent tracking information. These improvements reduced customer-reported tracking issues by 30%, leading to a 35% boost in customer satisfaction.

  • Developed a real-time chat system between agents/dispatchers and customers using Node.js, WebSockets, and Angular. Built typing indicators, delivery status events, persistent chat history, and a responsive UI. This feature streamlined communication, reduced support tickets, and increased transparency throughout the shipping process.

  • Improved platform performance and reliability by profiling slow endpoints, optimizing backend queries, reducing redundant data calls, and implementing UI rendering optimizations. Ensured the system could scale with Diesel Auto Express's growing volume of thousands of monthly shipments.
